Through the work that’s being done to regenerate Birkenhead, we have an incredible opportunity to make the most of the town’s cultural and heritage assets and to develop new and fun experiences for local people and visitors to enjoy. There are also lots of opportunities for our creative communities and businesses to grow as part of the exciting developments which are now happening.
As part of the work to develop and consult on the Birkenhead Regeneration Framework we are producing a strategy which will set out how the Council will work in partnership to make sure that culture and heritage are at the heart of plans for renewal, including transforming our precious public realm. Celebrating Birkenhead’s history, telling our story in new ways and energising our communities through cultural experiences has never been more important as we recover from the pandemic and look ahead to the future.
