Wirral Council and Forest Research are working together to assess the structural, environmental, and social effects of trees across the borough.
As part of the study, you are invited to share your thoughts and experiences about trees in your community.
Within the survey, you will be asked about the number of trees in your area, the health of these trees, the type of trees you like to see and where you like to see them. You can also tell us what you already do, or would like to do, when it comes to looking after trees in Wirral.
This survey is your opportunity to tell us what you think about the trees in your local area, their importance and why they need to be managed.
Surveys of trees, including measuring trees and logging the type of tree, are taking place to support this work. The feedback you provide will be combined with data that is being collected through the field surveys and together, the results will tell us more about the value of trees to people in Wirral and help the council with future decision making.
The survey will close on 31 October 2022.
Please note, when taking the survey, you will be redirected to the Forest Research website.
