Warding and Polling District Review 2026

New ward boundaries have been introduced by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE), they will come into force at the next scheduled Local Elections on 6 May 2027. As a result, Wirral Council must review the polling districts and polling places in affected areas. We are seeking your views on the proposed polling place for your area.

How do I take part?

We are asking for your views and suggestions on:

  • Whether you think the proposed location of your local polling place is suitable or not suitable.
  • If you think it is not suitable, why.
  • Whether you would like to suggest an alternative polling place location.

Your comments will be used to write a report including recommendations for changes to polling places, which will be reviewed at The Regulatory and General Purposes committee on 8 October 2026.

Comments can be made by clicking on the ‘Take Survey’ button below.
